- Al formed a comedy tag team with Steve Blackman known as Head Cheese. It was the basic funny man/straight man routine.

- His "Head" was the model for Mick Foley's "Mankind" mask.
- In 1999 had his action figure banned from many retail stores, because it was thought his character was carrying a woman's severed head (in reality it was a mannequin head).
- Apparently, WWF superstar Mankind's sock puppet friend Mr. Socko was Al Snow's idea.
- Along with partner Mick Foley, won the tag team titles from the New Age Outlaws on November 5, 1999, and held the title for 3 days. Is one of the shortest title reigns ever recorded.
