Raised in the rural confines of Northeastern OH, but fortunately my parents are book-learnin' types, so I grew up enjoying the nature of the Heartland without becoming a redneck. School went well. I walked the diplomatically delicate razor's edge of social life, and emerged with many good, kind friends.
